Connection timeout to host

when running the bot from my home server intel nuc 11 on the base ubunutu bot does not respond and after a while it gives the error “”Connection timeout to host: link to api v10” although on the main computer everything works fine, help to fix it please

Since the same bot works on another machine, I would first isolate the host/network rather than discord.py itself. On the Ubuntu NUC, test curl -v https://discord.com/api/v10/gateway, verify DNS resolution, timedatectl status, CA certificates, and outbound TCP 443. Also compare curl -4 and curl -6; a broken IPv6 route can look like an application timeout. If those work, post the full traceback plus Python and discord.py versions.
