Thanks for introducing Issue Artifacts!

I tried using Issue Artifacts to share an AI-generated swimlane diagram with my team to help them understand a complex workflow.

However, the diagram was too wide to view comfortably because the artifact panel is limited to a maximum width of 768px.

I experimented with overriding the panel's CSS variables in DevTools and found that:

• 1440px: Some content was cut off, and I wished I could see a bit more.
• 1600px: Still slightly cut off, but comfortable enough to use.
• 1920px: The entire diagram was visible.
• 80% of the viewport width: Even wider than 1920px in my environment, providing plenty of space.

Of course, part of the issue could be how the AI-generated HTML handles responsive layouts.

Rather than simply increasing the fixed maximum width, it would be great if users could freely resize the panel, ideally up to around 80–100% of the viewport width, or switch to a full-screen view.

This would make Issue Artifacts much more useful for sharing wide diagrams and other complex content with teams across different screen sizes.

Thanks for the helpful feedback! We’ll look into how to better support larger or full-screen views of HTML artifacts. Agree there’s room to improve this, especially for wide and complex diagrams.

Seems like a super useful feature, but it seems like it isn't available to GitHub app tokens yet?
My GH app has the issues: write permission so it should have access to the artifacts endpoints according to this page, but I get 404s when I try to call them :/

Thank you for flagging! We are looking into this and hope to get a fix out soon.

Very useful feature. I suggest adding link previews and titles using og tags, as well as opening the external links via iframes so they can be viewed just like inline htmls.

This is helpful feedback, thank you! We’ll explore using og tags for richer link previews. For opening external links via iframes, one caveat is that many websites block embedding, so it wouldn’t work for every link. Agree that inline viewing could be useful for sites that support it, though!

Great!
