Using a VPN or Cursor AI isn't necessarily a policy violation. GitHub should provide a clear explanation instead of generic responses. I'd recommend following up on your existing support ticket and requesting a manual review with a specific reason for the suspension. |

How did you even get a response about flagging for manual review? I can't get any kind of github support response after 3 weeks. |

My GitHub account has been suspended, and I have contacted GitHub Support multiple times to request a review. However, I keep receiving the same generic response stating that my account was flagged for manual review.
I have not knowingly engaged in any abusive activity or intentionally violated GitHub's policies. I used a VPN while working on my projects and also use Cursor AI agents to assist with development tasks, including pushing code to repositories.
Despite replying to Support several times, I have not received a specific explanation of what triggered the suspension or an update on when the review might be completed.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I would appreciate guidance on the appropriate appeal process and how to obtain a clear explanation and final decision from GitHub Support.
