Code archive for 2048 - Plus, a toy project I developed in 7th Grade (2021) and published on Microsoft Store (just for fun) in 2022.
- Pure Win32 API implementation for the 2048 game
- Optimized bitboard storage - tiles up to 32768
- Simple game checkpointing system
- Adapted and integrated
nneonneo's brilliant expectimax AI that consistently achieves the 8192 tile and higher- "Eco Mode": A quirky feature that manipulates CPU affinity to throttle the AI and save power (because why not?)
- Theme system supporting arbitrary choice of tile texts and colors
- Program encoding migrated from GBK to UTF-8
- Converted indentation to spaces
- Removed some poorly-designed themes
- Fixed historical GDI leaks and threading issues I didn't notice back then
- Project layout and architecture
- Old-fashioned C++ code
- Funny naming and comments
- Chinese UI elements
- The naive
.bat-based build system
You'll need windres and g++ on PATH. Then simply run build.bat on Windows:
build # on cmd
./build # on pwshAnd it produces the 2048plus.exe executable. Enjoy!
