Summary
Expose the shared introductory imaging plot through the Galaxy plotting namespace and forward the optional asinh stretch to the Array renderer. This keeps assistant figures on the standard plotting/configuration path. Part of PyAutoLabs/autolens_assistant#168; depends on PyAutoLabs/PyAutoArray#661.
API Changes
Add
autogalaxy.plot.subplot_imaging_dataset_introand optionalstretchtoplot_array. Existing calls keep their defaults. See full details below.Test Plan
Full API Changes (for automation & release notes)
Added
autogalaxy.plot.subplot_imaging_dataset_intro(dataset, output_path=None, output_filename="dataset_intro", output_format=None, colormap=None, stretch=0.01, radius=None, excluded_pixels=None)re-exports the Array compositor.Changed Signature
autogalaxy.util.plot_utils.plot_array(..., stretch=None), also exported asautogalaxy.plot.plot_array(and used by Lens).Migration
stretch=0.01gives an asinh display without changing data. Omission preserves existing behavior. Install with the matching Array feature/release; older Array wheels do not supply this API.Development-only Heart override
The human authorized “Authorize development-only shipping for #168”, then approved the library revision and concurrent plotting-only work in PyAutoArray. No merge or release is authorized.
Current Heart RED reasons:
Additional stale reasons: release validation incomplete: no rehearsal for current source; release push credential check stale (pyautolabs-bot, 49h old).
This change does not repair Heart. Required CI and the library-first release gate remain in force.
Generated by the PyAutoLabs agent workflow.
