What

Brings the Fumadocs site from docs/v3 into main, ahead of moving docs.walletconnect.com from Mintlify to the walletconnect-docs Cloudflare Worker.

docs/v3 shares no history with main (its root commit is 737f872), so a normal PR from docs/v3 is refused as unrelated histories. This branch contains one merge commit:

  • Parents: main (23ec6d4) first, docs/v3 (ef92850) second. Both histories are kept.
  • Made with git merge --allow-unrelated-histories -s ours, then the tree replaced with docs/v3's.
  • The resulting tree is identical to docs/v3 (same tree hash). The Mintlify files (docs.json, top-level .mdx, snippets/, root images/ and logo/) are removed and replaced by the Fumadocs site.

Content check: all 219 URLs in the live Mintlify sitemap.xml exist on docs-next.walletconnect.com, as pages (214) or working redirects (5).

How to merge

Use Create a merge commit. Squash or rebase would drop the link to docs/v3's history.

Don't merge yet

This is part of the cutover and should land on cutover day, in this order:

  1. Follow-up PR into main: switch deploy.yml from docs/v3 to main, replace the docs-next wording, add sitemap.xml and robots.txt, and fix the paths in update-specs.yml.
  2. Merge this PR, then the follow-up. main deploys to the Worker, which still serves only docs-next.
  3. Merge the WalletConnect/infra PR that moves docs.walletconnect.com to the Worker.

Until then, deploy.yml on main still only deploys pushes to docs/v3.

Heads-up

  • Mintlify builds main through its GitHub App. After this merge its build will fail because docs.json is gone. We expect it to keep serving its last good build until the DNS switch, but that is not verified.
  • 11 open PRs into main are in Mintlify format. They'll conflict after this merge and need to be closed or redone under content/docs/.

- Implemented a new worker in `worker/index.ts` to manage redirects and serve Markdown files based on request headers.
- Configured `wrangler.jsonc` to define the worker's entry point and asset handling settings.
- Added support for URL redirection using patterns defined in `redirects.json`.
- Enhanced Markdown serving capabilities based on `Accept` headers.
Pushes to docs/v3 run wrangler deploy (served at docs-next.walletconnect.com).
Same-repo PRs upload a version with a pr-<N> preview alias and comment the URL.
Replaces the Workers Builds references in README and AGENTS.md.

docs/v3 has no common history with main, so this merge uses
--allow-unrelated-histories. The resulting tree is exactly docs/v3's tree:
the Mintlify files (docs.json, top-level .mdx, snippets/, images/ at the
root) are removed and replaced by the Fumadocs site. main's history is kept
as the first parent.
