• Identifiers come from The Apple Wiki (verified 2026-10-27):
  • iPad mini (A20 Pro): the iPad mini 27.x firmware and iPad mini 27.2 OTA pages.
  • Apple TV 4K (4th generation): its device page (board J265AP) and the Apple TV 27.x firmware page.
  • ipsw.me doesn't list any of them yet.
• iPad mini (A20 Pro) comes from Apple's tech specs: 8.5", 2316×1512 at 326 ppi (screen ratio (756, 1158) in points), A20 Pro, Touch ID, rounded corners, Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), a single wide camera, USB-C, 5G, and eSIM only.
• Apple TV 4K (4th generation) uses the A19 chip (specs).
• Not included:
  • iPhone Duo, which is covered by Add iPhone Duo support and fix simulator detection #507.
  • HomePod mini 2, which was dropped as unused.
  • HomeView, which doesn't fit any platform DeviceKit supports.
  • The products expected at the Oct 28 "Pro and Tell" event, which haven't been announced yet.

Validation

• Added testOctober2026Devices, which covers identifier mapping, specs and simulator variants, plus entries in the existing CPU, 5G, USB-C and eSIM tests.
• On Xcode 26.2: iOS (iPhone 17 Pro), tvOS (Apple TV 4K 3rd gen) and watchOS (Apple Watch Ultra 3) test suites all pass.
• The macOS tests couldn't run locally because no Mac Development signing certificate is installed. This is unrelated to the change.
• Device.generated.swift regenerates identically from the template, and git diff --check is clean.

No screenshots: this is a library change with no UI.
