Shade is a native macOS app I built that pulls a translucent workspace down from the top of the screen, like a window shade. One shortcut, on top of any app, and your current app stays in front.
- 🗒️ In meetings: keep talking points in cards and read them with an on-device translation next to them (Apple Translation, nothing leaves your Mac).
- 🤖 With AI agents: run Claude Code or Copilot CLI in a terminal card, follow their status in the tab, and see the repository's changes, diffs and files without switching to the IDE.
- ✏️ For quick edits: open any file from the repo, edit it with syntax highlighting for about 190 languages, and hand it to your real IDE when it gets bigger.
