Confirmed live-host error
Scout systemd service exits with status=1 before recording its new run; a safe import-only probe reproduced
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'bob_publish_common', raised bybob_memory_recall.pyduring Scout startup. The last completed Scout run is hours earlier. The shared helper exists insrc/lib/bob/bob_publish_common.pybut was never part of the updater's initial managed registry, so the clean standalone entrypoint fails.Minimal correction
Release
v0.7.5-scout-importfix1directly from user-installedv0.7.5-logs2packages only unchangedbob_publish_common.pyinto~/.local/bin/, alongside the Scout executable and memory/friend modules. Standard updater integrity checks, private SQLite backup, and code rollback apply. Activity Manager restarts; Scout timer and publishers do not start or change, and no permissions, schema, credentials, Moltbook activity, or auto-posting settings are altered.Regression tests
New isolated installed-layout smoke tests confirm Scout fails without
bob_publish_common.pyand Scout/publisher/original-worker import successfully with it in their directory under an isolated Python interpreter. No live network/DB or workermaincalls. Docs include read-only import verification, and only after it succeeds a separate optionalsystemctl --user reset-failedto clear old systemd status without starting Scout.
