Changes

  • Banner and overview/ensv2 rewritten as "Namespace ENSv2 migration" — ENSv2 is live — one entry point that says only offchain subnames migrate today, with links back to where readers came from.
  • Quickstart, offchain guide, and Offchain subnames page link to the migration page — existing users ask "what happens to my names" first — no duplicated steps.
  • L2 removed as an issuance option across overview pages — new listings are L1 only — existing Base/Optimism subnames noted as still resolving.
  • Mint Manager, Indexer Manager, Mint API moved under "Legacy (ENSv1)" with a per-product warning — deprecated but still used — each page warns only about itself.
  • Subpages and ENS Widget tagged Deprecated with a warning — not supported on ENSv2 — readers aren't routed to them.
  • SDKs and APIs page lists deprecated tools in their own section — people still using them can find the reference.
  • Changelog tab reordered (supported first, deprecated last and tagged).
  • ENS Components docs rebuilt from source: 12 pages (install, each component, hooks, theming) — the old single page was thin — every import-bearing sample type-checks against 3.0.0.
  • ENS Components "Upgrade to the latest version" guide — replaces "Upgrading to 3.0" — 2.x vs 3.x per flow plus a breaking-change checklist.
  • ENS Components changelog covers every published release (1.1.0 → 3.0.0, 0.x grouped) — 2.x and 1.5.x were missing.
  • Onchain subnames page (user-guide/app) has ENSv2 / ENSv1 (deprecated) tabs — matches the App sidebar — new L1 flow with fresh screenshots, v1 flow kept for existing listings; /user-guide/app/ensv1 redirects here.
  • ENSv2 onchain pricing (length tiers, character classes) and token gating documented with new screenshots.
  • Subname payment documented as USDC or DAI only (gas in ETH) across App and ENS Components pages.
  • Search & register rewritten as 8 steps with current screenshots, including profile setup.

Notes

  • No URLs removed; one redirect added (/user-guide/app/ensv1 → /user-guide/app).
  • Verified: npm run check (validate, broken links, a11y, content checks, examples type-check) passes.
  • Known gaps for follow-up: profile-editor screenshot in registration, editing an ENSv2 listing after activation, subname mint screenshot on the register page.
  • Open questions: ENS Components license (ISC vs MIT), whether version={1} on registration/renewal is retired, Address SDK status.

Add an ENSv2 page with a per-version product table, resolver steps for
owners who upgrade, and guidance for new names. Link it from a site
banner and Getting started. Replace the outdated Namechain warning and
remove L2 from issuance comparisons, keeping a note for existing L2
subname holders.

Add a shared deprecation warning to every Mint Manager, Indexer Manager,
and Mint API page, mark the Mint API operations deprecated, and move the
three into Legacy (ENSv1) nav groups without changing URLs. Tag the
onchain mint guide, ENS Widget, and Subpages as ENSv1, and point
overview, quickstart, and next-step cards at products that work with
ENSv2 names. Skip the snippets folder in the content checker since
snippets are partials, not pages.

Mirror the 3.0 README and the synced ens-components skill: ENSv2 is the
default for onchain flows, renewal is covered by NameRenewForm and
SubnameRenewForm, and TransactionProgress and TransactionModal are
exported. Add an Upgrading to 3.0 section, refresh the component lists
and features, note the version={1} exception for old listings, rewrite
the SubnameMintForm card, and add the 3.0.0 changelog entry. Install
commands stay unpinned until the package lands on npm.

Replace the shared ENSv1 snippet with separate Mint Manager, Indexer
Manager, and Mint API warnings so each page names only its product.
Retitle the Mint Manager guide and tag it Deprecated.

Switch the ENSv1 notes to warnings and tag the pages Deprecated.

Order the Changelog tab with supported products first and tag the Mint
SDK and Indexer SDK changelogs Deprecated, with per-product deprecation
entries that match the page warnings.

Cover every published release from 0.1.0 to 3.0.0, using npm publish
dates. Group the 0.x releases and note breaking changes in 0.20.0,
1.1.2, 1.3.0, 2.0.0, and 3.0.0.

Split the ENS Components SDK docs into installation, one page per form
with props from the 3.0.0 types, hooks and helpers, theming, and an
upgrade guide covering 2.x to 3.x and 1.x to 2.x.

Rewrite the Namespace App onchain subnames page around the new ENSv2
activation flow: name selection, Mainnet subnames, setup, pricing and
rule tabs, review, bundled activation, a test mint, and managing
listings. Drop the L1/L2 choice and routes to deprecated products,
replace the old activation screenshots with fresh ones.

Bring back the pre-ENSv2 onchain subnames guide as
user-guide/app/ensv1 so owners of existing ENSv1 listings can still
find how they work and how to edit them. Mark it deprecated, point new
activations to the ENSv2 flow, and describe L2 only as how existing
listings worked. Restore the screenshots the page uses.

Replace the Prices screenshot with one that shows label length and
character-class pricing, and add a Token gated section with its own
screenshot. Note that the ENSv2 flow needs an ENSv2 name, that minters
pay in USDC or DAI, and link existing ENSv1 listings to their page.

Onchain subnames on ENSv2 are paid in USDC or DAI, not ETH. Fix the
ENS Components guides, upgrade guide, product page, and changelog, and
drop the Sepolia-specific token list. Network fees stay in ETH, and
version={1} mints on ENSv1 listings are still paid in ETH.

Show the ENSv2 and deprecated ENSv1 onchain flows as tabs on
/user-guide/app, matching the App sidebar. Remove the separate ENSv1
page and redirect /user-guide/app/ensv1 to /user-guide/app.

Remove the in-app upgrade steps, since Namespace has no upgrade flow,
and point resolver notes at the configure-the-resolver steps.

Replace the fuse-based L1 explanation with an offchain vs onchain
comparison, mark L2 subnames as coming soon, and drop the fuse claim
from the search and register page.

Say Namespace stores offchain subnames, sharpen the ENSv2 quickstart
card, drop the Mint Manager pointer, and add the Avatar SDK and ENS
Components to the SDK and API tool table.

Rewrite each rule tab as a one-line summary plus short field bullets,
and explain how base price, length tiers, and character-class pricing
combine, with reservations overriding them. Leave a TODO for the
unconfirmed precedence between length and character-class prices.

Group entries by what the reader sees (resolution, 401, 409, records,
ENSv2 onchain mint rules and payment, ENS Components setup, rate
limits), each with likely cause, short fix, and a link. Move deprecated
Mint Manager guidance into a short ENSv1 section at the end. Error codes
and messages come from the OpenAPI spec and existing SDK pages.

List every current skill (ens, offchain-ens-subname-sdk, celonames,
resolvio, ens-components, avatar-sdk) with the install commands from the
repo README, add the install-all command, and move mint-manager-sdk to a
legacy section. Replace the unsupported tool-compatibility claim with the
Agent Skills specification the repo follows.

State the covered SDK version on the installation page, document the
customHeaders and backendUri client options, and explain that Namespace
stores offchain subnames and ENS clients resolve them through CCIP Read.
